Property on the Dawnay Estates comprises a wide variety of attractive period stone houses and cottages, converted barns and new buildings for use as retail, offices, workshops or storage, and livestock and arable farms and bare land from 150 acres to 1,000 acres. Many of these properties are available to let. In addition a beautifully refurbished five bedroom (sleeps up to 12) farmhouse at Danby is available for holiday letting. The North York Moors National Park attracts over 11 million visitors per annum, and Scarborough remains a popular day visitor resort town with facilities to include golf, bowling, cinema, theatre (Stephen Joseph Theatre, famous for launching new Alan Aykbourne plays), Kinderland, Peasholm Park, Sea Life Centre, Scarborough Cricket Festival, and Olivers Mount Motor Racing circuit.
