The properties are situated at either Wykeham, seven miles west of Scarborough, North Yorkshire, or Danby which is in the Esk Valley near Whitby, North Yorkshire. The North York Moors National Park attracts over 11 million visitors per annum, and Scarborough remains a popular day visitor resort town with facilities to include golf, bowling, cinema, theatre (Stephen Joseph Theatre, famous for launching new Alan Aykbourne plays), Kinderland, Peasholm Park, Sea Life Centre, Scarborough Cricket Festival, and Olivers Mount Motor Racing circuit. In addition there are many miles of stunning and varied coast line.
