The Abbey shoot at
Wykeham continues to be
developed. New drives are
being created to add to such
spectacular drives as the
Spinney, Firebreak, Jenny
Springs,the Park and the
Gulley. The friendly
atmosphere remains together
with competitive prices.
The pheasant shooting is
either over the Bedale and
Yedmandale beats offering
high birds or the Abbey and
Ruston beats which is more
traditional. Partridge
shooting is throughout the
Estate.
Availability:-
Partridge
150 or 200 bird days (8
to 9 guns) – @ £30.00 incl
vat per bird, 8 guns
Available days: September to
October; Tuesdays and
Fridays.
Pheasant
250 bird days –Bedale/Yedmandale
beats @ £34.00 per bird incl
vat
Available days:-November,
December and January;
Mondays and Thursdays
150 bird days –
Abbey/Ruston beats @ £29.00
per bird incl vat
Available days: November,
December and January,
Tuesday and Fridays /
Saturdays
Lunch in the Old Kitchen
is charged separately and
the catering team will
provide a variety of costed
menus.
