There’s still a place for conifers!
Leylandii conifers have earned a bit of a bad name over the years due largely to them being planted in small gardens and allowed to grow unrestrained – they’re a very vigorous option and need regular, frequent pruning where space is limited to prevent them from getting out of hand. However, in the right space they’re a useful, robust option for screening and to provide shelter to an otherwise exposed area.
