Cotoneaster frigidus Cornubia
Vigorous semi-evergreen shrub or small tree with arching branches. Dark green foliage, with some yellow-red autumn colour. White flowers in summer are followed by bright red berry-like fruit in autumn. Prefers sheltered position. Ultimate height around 5 metres, forming (if you let it) an arching, umbrella-shaped specimen.
A quick growing semi evergreen with masses of bright red berries in the autumn which is good for screening. The bright red berries are popular with birds.
