The variety Cornus sericea 'White Gold’ has clusters of white flowers in late spring amongst white edged variegated leaves. The flowers are followed by white fruits in late summer and the bare yellow stems bring a welcome highlight to the winter garden. White Gold is a hardy deciduous shrub that is also tolerant of heavy damp soil.
