Scots Pine

We have some stunning Scots Pine tree specimens for sale. It is the only pine tree native to the UK, growing around 45cm a year. A Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris) can reach a mature height of at least 10 metres, with a minimum spread of 8 metres.
With distinctive blue-green needles, the trunk matures into a beautiful reddish-brown colour. Mature trees eventually lose their lower branches and take on an almost cedar of Lebanon shape. They also produce attractive grey pine cones.
Scots Pine copes well with exposure. It will grow in most soil types except waterlogged sites.
